PLR – Membership Sites Or Individual Purchases?

You must have heard by now that using PLR can really boost your own marketing efforts.  But maybe you have questions about whether you should join a monthly recurring/one-time-fee PLR Membership site or just buy individual PLR bundles from various sources.  This article explains the benefits of each.

What are the key Benefits of a PLR Membership Site

Membership sites usually have a ton of PLR content to choose from.  You pay a monthly fee for all of it, whether it’s in your specific niche or not.  If you have a broad niche or several niches, this may be the way to go.  Membership sites typically have more than just Articles and may offer you PLR products and other services such as templates, graphics, website builders, etc.  If you want these things, great, you’re paying for them with your monthly membership fee and can download at will.

A good question to ask is if the membership is limited to a certain number of people.  Not all sites put a lid on their memberships and this could mean that the offerings inside could end up all over the place outside and saturate the market.

Don’t worry, there are helpful tutorials and training and support. With a little experience you’ll find all sorts of spots to list the PLR content and be making money. You may even need more :)
• MRRCentral – While there is a few good quality PLR products, this site generally lists MRR content that it picks up from good sources. I’ve listed many products for sale on E-Junkie and income is coming in. For the Price ($9.99 per month) I’d say you’ve got nothing to lose.

Individual Purchase Benefits

You buy only what you want and nothing more.  If you’re on a tight budget, then this option is for you.  It’s also good if you don’t want to buy anything for a couple months; you aren’t tied to a monthly fee.  You can get them in 5 to 10 article bundles or packs in all the same subject. A good example is Green Living PLR a growing and now booming niche.

These sites offer PLR Articles that are written by the owner, or outsourced and proofread by the owner.  The quality of the Articles should be good and you don’t usually have to worry about whether the Articles were written by people who aren’t native English speakers.

Is the article distribution limited? It’s common to find PLR article sites that limit distribution to anywhere from 30 to 50 licenses on each article bundle.

Smaller individual sites that sell PLR take less of your time.  Mega membership sites can take a while to navigate and they tempt you with stuff you don’t currently need.  One might consider this a benefit since you can learn quite a lot of secrets inside the PLR material.

Alternative idea

Do both.  Buy individual bundles that you can use for your particular niche and join a membership site that caters only to your niche.  Some membership sites offer PLR to specific niches like pets, WAHMs, gardening, or health, etc.  Just google in “(pet) plr membership site” or something in those lines.  This game plan can work well and is an excellent way to get the content you need to grow your list.
