Question by : Why are women seen as bad? As if female sexuality is evil?
My question is, why is female sexuality seen as bad?
.Teenage girls who do sexual things are seen as irresponsible skanks by society, but it’s considered normal for teenage boys to be sexual.
. If a young guy walks around topless nobody has a problem with it. But some people have a problem with young girls wearing belly shirts.
. People always assume that if a woman dresses provocatively, it automatically means she has no self-respect.
. In order to be seen as a ‘good role model for young girls’, a young female celebrity can never wear a sexy outfit or do a sexy dance move. She always has to act virginal and innocent in public.
. We western women are called ‘loose’ or ‘whores’ by the rest of the world just because we don’t conform to their sexist, repressive views on modesty and premarital sex. (Meanwhile, those hypocrites are coercing, beating, and raping their women into submission, forcing them to get abortions, and not respecting womens’ rights)
. A strict father murders his teenage daughter and her sister just because the girl started having an intimate relationship with a guy he didn’t approve of, saying that he refused to raise ‘whores’. The girls brother actually stood up for his murdering father and refuses to reveal his father’s whereabouts, responding “They knew the rules. They shouldn’t have been whores.”

I could list lots more examples of this sort of thing, but I think you get my point.
I’m not saying we should all just go make sex tapes, flash our privates, sleep around, cheat on our spouses, hook up with other people’s spouses, or have sex with somebody to make a quick buck. But why do people have to make what a woman or girl chooses to wear a moral issue? Real morals shouldn’t be about clothing and I think it’s shallow and immature to judge people that way. Why are we labeled as sluts just for expressing and exploring our sexuality? As human beings, we HAVE THE RIGHT to express and explore our sexuality, and that includes celebrity women like Christina Aguilera, etc. Our bodies belong to us. You’d think that after thousands of years of being on the planet human kind would have finally started to pay attention to what happens when you try to repress people and force them to live by your values and ideas. But no. it’s the 21st century and we still have the slut label, which leads to bullying, domestic violence, hatred, and teen suicide. The world is still filled with narrow-minded prudes and unessecary moral panics. (Gasp! Miley cyrus is wearing WHAT?)

Why does female sexuality disgust and anger people so badly?
